Patience flees away as a result of over bill charges in portharcourt teaching hospital

Three patients at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital reportedly sneaked out of the health facility without paying the balance of their bills running into hundreds of thousands of naira.

The patients, it was gathered, were due for discharge, but were left in the hospital because they could not pay the balance of their bills.

The gate was only opened when doctors and other health workers came in to do their jobs while only a few visitors were allowed into the unit on self-recouIt was learnt that one of the private security personnel was queried for failing to notice when the patients sneaked out of the facility.

However, some visitors to the unit, who came to see their ailing relatives, were barred from entering the hospital the following day because of the incident , patient run away because of increased in bills of hospitalizations As a result lack of finance to pay for the bills, and some of the I'll patient at home been scared away because of increased in hospital bills which they can't afford to pay, government should look into the unit of health care to at least decrease the hospital bills payments in the country, because is not everyone is capable of affording a given bills. eaglestare.blogspot.com

Efcc make a move on U.S for allegedly deployed two Nigerians

eaglestares.blogspot.com The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Thursday re-arraigned an American, Marco Ramirez, at an Ikeja Special Offences Court for allegedly defrauding three Nigerians of $1.2 million on the pretext of securing green cards for them. Ramirez was re-arraigned before Justice Mojisola Dada on an amended 12-count charge of conspiracy and obtaining under false pretence. Ramirez was arraigned alongside his companies – USA Now LLC; Eagle Ford Instalodge Group LP and USA Now Capital Group. The EFCC said that Ramirez committed the offences between February 2013 and August 2013 in Lagos. Ramirez is alleged to have defrauded Ambassador Godson Echejue, Mr Abubakar Umar and Mr Olukayode Sodimu of the money. The offences contravene Section 1 (3) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act, No. 14 of 2006.
